What is Hypnosis and How Does It Work?

Hypnosis is a natural, altered state of consciousness where communication between the conscious mind and subconscious mind is present. In the state of hypnosis brain waves slow down to what is called theta waves similar to the state daydreaming. Gaining access to the subconscious mind allows information that may be unreachable during one's waking consciousness to be accessible.

Hypnotherapy is the process of accessing the subconscious mind to uncover or reveal the origin of an event that created an unfavorable belief affecting one's life in an unwanted or unpleasant or manner.

The majority of my clients utilize hypnotherapy for personal development, relationships, and spiritual growth. Hypnosis may also be conducive for behavior modification, releasing trauma, and a changing undesirable mental patterns. Hypnosis is also used in clinical environments to treat anxiety, painless natural childbirth, and weight loss.

The hypnotherapist guides the client into a deep state of relaxation creating an environment to open the doorway to the subconscious. Once this is achieved the hypnotherapist assists the client to uncover the memory —the root cause the origin of the psychological imprint.

The hypnotherapist allows the client the freedom to explore the memory and release emotions associated with the event. The hypnotherapist facilitates a healing process to assist the client to move through the event with a new perspective. If accepted by the client transformation is complete. And life goes on...
